We were very impressed with the price to performance ratio of the stealth magnet version of the HE400se and decided to see how much extra goodness we could squeeze out of them. After months of re-designing the enclosure from scratch, it turned out they had a lot to give. We have improved the airflow which has given them deeper, punchier, more accurate bass. We also put a lot of work into the inside of the earcup which gives a much more open and airy sound with a much wider sound stage.

As standard they will come with the original HiFiMan cable but we do also have the option for one of our braided litz cables which have balanced options for use with balanced amps.

They can either come with plain black 3D printed parts or there is the option to have them painted any colour you want. If you chose the painted option, you will just need to message us with you ideas on the design or colour you would like and we can work with you to produce it.

We can notch the top of the headband which will make them slightly more comfortable for long listening periods. This involves re-shaping the padding so it does not press on the top of the head.

We also have a choice of 2 different pads  – the earcups have been re-designed to take standard 90-100mm pads so they can be fitted with beyerdynamic style pads.
The sheepskin leather pads will give a little more sub bass giving a lovely warm rich sound, the DT990 pads will make them sound a little more open and airy with a little less sub bass and a bit more sparkle in the high end.

We recommend fitting metal grills to the outside to protect the driver but if you want them as open as possible, we do have the option of not fitting them but will not be held responsible if you damage the driver by poking something through it.

Customer service and warranty

We know that you are paying a premium for our headphones and that they are a very important part of your life. Our headphones are made durable and reliable, but in the unlikely event that you do have an issue with them, please get in contact with us and we will make sure that we get you sorted out. We offer a full 2 year ‘return to base’ warranty, and we keep all of the spare parts in stock so that we can also send replacement parts if necessary. Outside of the warranty period we still offer repairs on all our products for a fair price.

International orders

Close to 70% of our customers are outside of the UK, so we have a lot of experience with international orders and worldwide shipping. All packages over £50 will have a form of international tracking.

– European packages normally take 4-6 days.
– US, AUS and Canada packages normally take 7-10 Days.
– Packages sent to the rest of the world can vary depending on local postal services.
– Packages shipping outside of the EU may be delayed in customs, but the tracking system should keep you updated of its progress.
