Just a quick video to show the process of soldering a jack onto a cable
I have been tweaking and testing these since they came out and now finally have a cost effective upgrade for them. It also smooths off some other areas of the frequency curve. I pushed the boat out and got in some of the slightly more expensive HiFiMan headphones to see what they are all about. Probably not the best video as I am not great at reviewing headphones and the design of these is pretty simple but it was nice to have a listen and see what all the fuss is about

I am pretty certain I have heard headphones change sightly over time but I have also been told that it is just my ears getting used to the sound... I thought it would be interesting to see if I could test to see if it is real or not. So I have tried to be as scientific as possible to get some actual measurements. Full disclosure. in the 1st half of the video I had the headphones slightly too far forward on the rig so it gave a bad test - I then adjusted them and re-tested off camera before the 24 hour test. So if the eagle eyed amongst you noticed the headphones moved slightly between the two tests, I assure you that they stayed un-touched and in the same position for both frequency plots. I would love to hear what you think in the comments and what your opinion on burn in is.
